Event Details Arts & Craft Fair at the Cape San Blas Lighthouse Date: 7/3/2009 Time: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Location: Cape San Blas Lighthouse, Located near the elbow of Cape San Blas. (View Map) Description: First ever Fourth of July Arts & Crafts Fair held at the Cape San Blas Lighthouse. Vendors will have homemade art, crafts, paintings, photography, jewelry, glassware, wood carvings, stained glass, and more. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks will be available. A booth displayed with Tupelo honey, the local turpentine industry's history, & blacksmithing. Some local authors will be selling & autographing their books in the Keepers Cottage next door to the Sleeping Beauty gift shop. Climb the lighthouse tower for $5.00; kids 10 & under can climb for free with an adult accompanying them. Event will run Friday and Saturday, the 3rd & 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday (5th) from 12 noon to 6:00 p.m. We are continuing to look for arts & craft vendors, as well as food vendors. (aka US 98) (View Map) Description: Bring the family out to enjoy face painting, a bounce house, & other fun things for the kids! At intermission kids can run the track in a footrace; all participants get a free ice cream. Free dinner off the children's menu for the kids under 12 with purchase of Adult Buffet sponsored by Beef O'Brady's. Let the little ones be amazed by hands-on contact with a greyhound dog! Racing begins at 7:30, but come early to let the kids jump & get their faces painted. Event is hosted by Ebro Greyhound Park & Island 106.
