A controlled burn ordered by Port St. Joe Co. had Panama City Beach west of R. Jackson Blvd (formerly Beckrich Rd.) covered in fog-like smoke which only began to dissapate with a light rain.  Authorities are said to have confirmed that the burn was not out-of-control.  The scheduled burn was on Wildwood Rd., behind Breakfast Point School north of the new Publix & Dunkin Donuts. 

Let us all hope we get more than just enough rain to wash away the smokey remnants of the burn; for all of our surrounding nature could use it!
